bike lust
A rainy day, a bike, a darkened room and an LED flashlight.
redhead in the wind, part 2
Another windy day, another fun session with a redhead. In this case, my law school classmate Rae. Just another spring day in Kansas.
redhead in the wind
Just a few out takes from some images I made for friends this morning. I had a great time. Have a great weekend.

the most photographed building in Kansas City
I had an assignment at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City today. I’ve driven past it a number of times and hadn’t made a picture until today. I’ve certainly seen a ton of images, both good and bad of it. I’m not sure yet how I want to photograph when I go back and spend a little time. The sky was grey this morning, however, I shot a few frames any way. Gorgeous building inside and out. Great clean lines indoors as well. I’m heading back soon to spend a little more time.

what if . . .
. . . rubber bath tub toys walked into the studio of Frederick Scott Archer (1851) to have wet plate portraits made? Perhaps the results would have looked something like this:
they’d have had no problem with being still for a long exposure.

Sometimes I just get bored out of my skull. It’s then I remember my ABCs: always be creating.
